Feather Down Farm Days Hillside farm is a beautiful, spacious campsite set on a working farm in the scenic Gower Peninsula. The site rests on the western tip looking down at the point where the golden sands arc into the distance, forming the picturesque bay of Rhossili Bay that curves around a quiet coastal village. The coastline is famed for its surf-friendly swell, yet has much to offer non-surfing adventurers and kids. Spend a glorious afternoon basking in the sunshine, and gaze out at the sparkling sea and the gentle roll of the waves as they lap the shore. Spread out a blanket in a secluded corner, uncork a bottle of wine, and unwind as you dive into your holiday reading, with brief pauses to select yet another delectable snack for the nibbles. The Taylors have farmed the land since 1840, and are at hand to welcome new guests and show them around the arable sheep farming land. Keep an eye out for curious sheep who may come by to have a nose around the new arrivals. Spend your days soaking the greenery around, and shake off the stress of modern life. Take in sprawling landscapes sprinkled with grazing sheep, cows and horses, or head out for active days of outdoor adventures. Dogs are only welcome between July and September owing to the number of sheep on-site.
