Underhill Farm is a serene camping spot nuzzled under the Llanymynech rocks, conveniently positioned on the border between Wales and Shropshire. The Evison family are the proud owners of this splendid site, which was nothing more than a vacant property back in 2009. Thirty years of wrack and ruin were slowly yet steadily transformed into a beautiful family home with a spacious site set aside for campers who want to engage with nature. The farm rests amid the lush Shropshire countryside, a few hundred yards away from the Welsh Border and just a short trot from the village pub and shop. Sit back and sip on a cold drink of choice as you savour the community feel and savour the sumptuous settings of your furnished yurt. The snazzy abodes are kitted out with the gadgets and creature comforts of home, ensuring a peaceful, restful stay. Each unit is positioned to provide campers as much privacy as possible, with views out over miles of green meadows peppered with local wildlife like bushy-tailed squirrels foraging in the tall grass and the flash and flitter of butterfly wings that add colour to the sea of emerald. There is also a simple space for tent campers to pitch up to five tents near still wildlife ponds frequented by dragonflies. Campfires are encouraged, and pets are most welcome to tag along.
