Wilton Gatehouse Caravan Club is a peaceful, compact Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, accepting no more than five touring vehicles at any given time. The member’s only site holds grassy, generous pitches with electric connections for small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Communal amenities are limited to the bare essentials, like a washing up area, drinking water points and chemical disposal. Sit back and look forward to no-frills camping stay in a central location, affording easy access for exploring the local area. Must-see attractions like the Dalby Forest Visitor Centre, North Yorkshire Moors Railway, plus Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo all rests within a 5-mile radius from the base. Elizabeth and Andrew make guests feel very welcome and sell delicious homemade jam plus eggs for breakfast and nibbles. Several excellent pubs nearby offer excellent value for money meals, so feel free to head out when you want someone else to do the cooking. The resort town of Scarborough, plus Helmsley and Malton, are within easy driving distance. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
