Dalesbridge

Dalesbridge is peaceful camping, touring and glamping site ideally set in the scenic, protected countryside, in an excellent location halfway between the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland. The sizeable, tree-filled camping area rests on ten acres of peaceful countryside and offers a sense of privacy and several cosy corners shaded by large, leafy trees. Use the site as a wonderfully placed base for adventures in popular attractions like the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and the Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cyclists are specially catered to here as the site has a lockable bike store and a cycle wash for cleaning mud-splattered bikes after long days of pedalling furiously up shapely hills and down fertile dales. Gisburn Forest is an excellent spot for bikers of all ages and abilities and rests no more than a half an hour’s drive away. Zip down slopes or tackle a hike to the Three Peaks in less than twelve hours, or sit back and soak in the scenery along the Settle-Carlisle railway and head back to base to unwind to spectacular sunsets and the soothing sounds of the countryside. There is a fully-licensed bar for those returning with thirst and the usual facilities like well-maintained toilets, showers, washing up area, Wi-Fi and chemical disposal.
