The camping area comes with a drinking water tap, grey waste and disposal points and recycling facilities as well. A bus stop right opposite the campsite serves as the main route into York and regularly operates throughout the day; seven days a week allowing guests the freedom to leave their cars behind for days out among York’s numerous attractions. Late buses run on Fridays and Saturdays allowing adults the privilege to sit back and savour local tipple at the many bars and restaurants around Crockey Hill. Stock up on camping supplies at the shops and eateries at the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet set a few minutes from the site. Barbeques are allowed and pets welcome.
