Dockray Meadow Campsite is a hidden gem and a cracking spot for accessing lesser-frequented lakes (though by no means less beautiful), like Loweswater, Ennerdale, Cogra Moss, Crummock Water, Buttermere, and Derwentwater. The site rests amid beautiful and lush settings peppered with gently undulating hills and trees, creating a lovely atmosphere for shaking off the stress of the modern world. Families can easily access numerous open-air activities, local amenities, and fun-filled days out. Walkers and pet owners can follow lovely routes directly from the campsite while the less energetic campers bask in the sunshine and unwind alongside a glittering stream. Watch frolicsome red squirrels and bashful deer forage in the lush surroundings whilst sizzling bits on the barbeque grill. Dockray is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site welcoming touring vehicles.
