Amenities are limited to the essentials, and consist of a toilet block, hot showers, and drinking water points. Active types can head out for scenic strolls or use the site as a centre-point for exploring the natural beauty of the Lakes, Coast and Dales. Anglers can find well-stocked bodies of water to cast a line. There is a village shop and bus service a mere mile away. Dogs are welcome.
