Motorhome: Ellen-Mae

Ellen Mae is our beautiful luxurious and comfortable Hymer A Class motorhome equipped with belted seats and sleeps 4. Ellen Mae has the metallic silver paint upgrade that we think makes it look classy. Step on board and there's a light welcoming interior neutral coloured seating, with light-coloured wood kitchen and storage cabinets that make for a nice and comfortable atmosphere.

The beds throughout have been upgraded with Hymer Comfort mattresses In the rear there are twin full size permanent beds in a curtained off area there's also an insert section and when added in turns the rear bed area into a superking sized bed. At the front there is a king sized drop down over cab bed with wooden ladder for easy access. Best thing is that with this setup you wont have to constantly make up beds or squeeze and shuffle around things every evening.

On our travels around Europe, honestly not having to make up beds everyday was a game changer especially welcome when you're tired.

Cook in your own kitchen with a burner gas hob and a spacious 3-way fridge freezer. There's also a separate filtered drinking water tap installed. All cutlery crockery and kitchen equipment is supplied. The cab chairs swivel easily to face the table for meal times and the table slides two ways so you can find a seating option that suits you and your family best.

The bathroom is a well-designed washroom that makes life on the road easy. There's a proper separate shower with folding doors so you're not dealing with a full wet room and enough space to shower comfortably. The sink area has handy storage above and below for toiletries along with a large mirror and good lighting that keeps it feeling bright. Its a compact space but everything is laid out well, including a neatly positioned cassette toilet so you can use it day to day without it feeling cramped. The wood finish adds a bit of warmth as well so it feels more like a small bathroom at home.

There's plenty of kit in the cab including reversing camera, Bluetooth, climate control,
cruise control, hill descent assist, traction control and cup holders and some stowage.
To the drivers right a set of switches has mirror adjustment and external electric step control.

For music and movie fans there are speakers connected to the stereo throughout the motorhome - two front cab downward facing speakers from the over cab bed, a built in sub-woofer somewhere and rear speakers in the bed area. Watching a film connected to Bluetooth is cool.

The garage is huge can take up to 350kg and has two big doors one on either side and can take full-sized cycles. Its also heated and has lighting We stored our bikes there on our long European adventures rather than adding a bike rack.
