The Breighton Ferry

The Breighton Ferry

Located: Campsites in Selby, North Yorkshire

The Breighton Ferry is a lovely, family-run pub site nestled next to the shimmering waters of the River Derwent, a smooth 20-minutes’ from the bustle and attractions in York. The site holds a roomy campsite, a lovely country pub and boat moorings for paddles along the peaceful river. Guests travelling with their accommodation like tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans are welcome to rumble by, set up camp, and enjoy the peaceful sceneries of the river, and miles of green, rolling countryside beyond. Electric meters are available and must be booked in advance if required. The young ones can scamper about and make their fun in the roomy play area. Communal amenities include a new toilet and shower block, completed to high standards. There is a pot washing area, drinking water points, and designated disabled-friendly features. The Breighton Ferry also contains boat moorings and slipway, charged annually on a per-foot basis. A handy pub on-site eliminates the need to drive around for meals and acts as an excellent draw for campers searching for convenient meal options. The pub has a games room complete with a snooker and pool table, an open fire, an outdoor seating area, and a conservatory. Dine on scrumptious, fresh meals accompanied by your pick from a wide selection of drinks. Dogs are welcome on-site and in the pub.
