Wimbles Farm is a peaceful, self-sustained campsite nestled in the heart of rural Sussex, providing guests with the delights of wild camping paired with very basic amenities to ease one through the exciting traditional camping experience. The secluded site only has room for around 5 or 6 pitches at any given time, providing guests with an incredibly rural and tranquil escape from the complexities of modern life. This welcoming family-run farm site rests by a snaking stream in a peaceful flower meadow, with two well-maintained pitching areas, each complete with a firepit for crackling campfires and alfresco sizzles. There is only room for an estimated six tents, so there’s no fear of cramped camping spaces where one may hear their neighbours snoring through the night. Stretch out as you enjoy the laidback atmosphere and let out a sigh of contentment as you contemplate a restful and rejuvenating escape from the rat race. As well as camping pitches, Wimbles Farm also offers stays in recently refurbished shepherds huts, hidden on a quiet corner of the field. The swish abodes are ideal for guests who enjoy camping with creature comforts like a double bed, pillows, furniture and rugs. A private spring-fed fishing lake is perfect for angling, and ancient natural woodland is just the thing for the young ones to frolic and appreciate time away from the screen. Pets are welcome.
