Ye Olde Wheelwrights is a lovely Camping and Caravan Club member set on the border dividing Dorset and Wiltshire. The site rests in a peaceful and viewsome location, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the pretty village of Ludwell. Shaftesbury, famed for its Gold Hill, rests an ideal 1.5 miles from the village, and the site rests close to a lovely 16th-century pub, The Grove Arms, which serves fresh, homemade food and local ales and welcomes pets with open arms. There are five grass pitches with individual electric meters, ideal for both tents and touring vehicles of varying sizes. Standard amenities include a toilet block, hot showers, a washing-up area, freshwater points, and recycling. Dogs are welcome to tag along.
