The crown of the Jurassic coast with beautiful bays, cliffs and views, you will be on the Devon Dorset Border and a short trip from Cornwall, the most stunning coastal area in the UK. We will give you lots of tips and advice on the best places to visit. Carlos is a classic VW camper with a difference. He was not made in the 70s, but 40 years later, with a modern water-cooled VW Golf engine, better brakes, more power and proper heating, so far more reliable than the older ones. A 70s T2 will struggle to do 65mph. Carlos has all the looks but will do 80mph with ease, get you up hills and do 30mpg instead of low 20s. VW ceased production of the T2 in 1979 but continued in Mexico till 2013. He has lots of room with the pop top roof, a 2 berth. It comes with -Goodies like a hamper, kitchen equipment, Bluetooth speaker, USB charger, water container, hook-up cable, camping chairs, and picnic blanket. We can get a full gas bottle for you prior to your trip at a cost. We prefer you bring your own bedding towels, but they can be provided at a small additional cost. This is a much newer than average T2 but still a classic design. The steering will be a little heavier, and the gearbox requires a delicate touch. But you will soon get used to driving him, and these add to the character. also, being a lot more compact than a modern camper, they are far easier and less daunting to drive around the tight country lanes in the South West.
