The Yorkshire Hussar Inn Holiday Caravan Park is a secluded, peaceful base for stress-free escapes from the distractions of everyday life. The site enjoys a central position, sandwiched between the ancient cathedral city of Ripon and the lively spa town of Harrogate, resting behind the Olde World Village Pub. Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks are a mere 2-miles’ away, while Emmerdale, the Yorkshire Dales and Heriot Country are within easy reach. Guests are conveniently positioned near shops, restaurants, pubs, swimming pools, walking trails, cycling routes and horse riding, providing quick access for sorting meals and days out with the family. Campers are welcome to set up camp on this picturesque base from April to October and enjoy the pleasant garden settings with plenty of trees and shrubs for shelter as well as seclusion. The small family-run park first opened its doors to campers in the 1950s under the ownership of the Brayshaw Family. Today, the park welcomes tents, small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Static holiday homes are also available on a purchase and hire basis. Communal amenities include toilets, hot showers, a pot washing area, a laundry, drinking water points, gas exchange and chemical disposal. The inn on the premises serves traditional ales, spirits, lagers, wines and more. Dogs are welcome.
