Ideally set in the serene Glen Glass, Blackrock Caravan and Camping Park is a spacious, friendly campsite set within the scenic surrounds in the village of Evanton. This friendly park welcomes tents, campervans, and touring caravans as well as providing a range of self-catering holiday homes. Guests can camp under canvas, rumble through the gates in a recreational vehicle, or settle in for a snug stay in a holiday home or the well-equipped bunkhouse that best suited for backpackers. The site itself rests a mile off the busy A9 and affords easy access to places like Tain, Wick, Thurso, and John O’Groats as well as the city of Inverness and Dingwall. Regular bus service from the village heads into these popular destinations so feel free to leave the vehicle behind on your day out. Site facilities include a toilet block, free hot showers, a laundry with washing machines and dryers, chemical disposal, baby changing conveniences and disabled-friendly amenities. A local shop stocks camping essentials and welcomes guests throughout the week. The cosy village pub serves a range of delicious homemade dishes and is a mere two hundred yards from the site. The camping field offers level pitches with16 amp electric hook-ups as well as a range of new and preloved holiday homes. The bunkhouse is perfect for backpackers and provides four rooms with four bunk beds as well as a well-fitted kitchen, dining area, launderette, and showers.
