Motorhome Hire Borders

The Scottish Borders boast of a varying landscape from east to west and are steeped in history. The region remains relatively undiscovered, making it an ideal location to wander and camp out in your motorhome hire with none of the bustles. The Borders extend over Pentland, Moorfoot and the Lammermuir Hills. Take the A68, and cross the border at Carter Bar for beautiful views of the Scottish Borders. Head to the west to camp out on the rolling hills and wake up by glittering lochs. Take delight in the rural settings in the central area of the Borders or whizz of to the east for fishing villages and secluded bays. Learn of the region's history centred on Christian monks, accomplished writers and devastating battles. If you enjoy walking and cycling, the Borders are for you! Find a motorhome hire in the Borders from private motorhome owners in Galashiels, Hawick, Peebles, Selkirk, Kelso, and more! All our vans are insured so you don't have to worry about accidents or damage throughout your adventure!

The figures on the right are approaching the 2nd green, the figures in the middle are on the 1st tee, and the figures on the left are on the 8th green. Club members were playing in the March medal (01/03/08) on the course as an 18 hole layout for the final time. Rising costs and dwindling members have forced club officials to reduce the course from 18 to 9 holes. The club took over the running of the course in 1992 from the former Ettrick and Lauderdale District Council, but membership numbers have fallen over the last 10 years and fewer youngsters are taking up the game. The holes from the 10th to the 16th on the high part of the course on Blaikie's Hill will be made redundant and holes 17 and 18 will become 8 and 9. Players will commence rounds at the 3rd hole with holes 1 and 2 likely to be used as practice facilities. The club was founded in 1884 as a 9 hol
