I hired the Mothertruck for a 3 day break to Stonehenge. She drives like a dream. Theres plenty of room for everyones stuff and has a fire bowl and logs (which I replenished). Its big enough in the back for bikes, a canoe and all your luggage and tents. Sleeping up high is good for the kids and sitting round the table with the sliding door open, the evening sun shining in and a glass of cool wine from the FRIDGE!! what else could you wish for?

Fun at fleet

We loved our campervan weekend! BlueRae was so comfortable, we had everything we needed, and we would definitely hire from them again. Nothing negative to say, a great experience. We really enjoyed tootling around the countryside!

Borrowing RubyRed for a day was great fun. Just be prepared to drive slowly and have the experience of lorries and coaches overtaking you. Great fun with friends to relax in the back if you manage to find yourself a driver. We drove around the lakes for the day. Doesnt matter whatever the weather, as if it rains at least you have somewhere roomy and comfortable to shelter :)

Steven was prompt and helpful from initial contact to the completion of our rental.
The campervan was spotless and everything worked as it should. Collecting us from and leaving us back to the train station at Chesterfield was so helpful, as was the use of a booster seat for our 3 year-old.
The van averaged 46mpg, which is way better than our family car. The transition from sleeping to road-ready set up was very straightforward, and whilst Im not denying that the great weather we had for the week helped, it was a great family holiday.

I wouldnt hesitate to recommend hiring Mars from Steven.

Having just spent a long weekend travelling both Devon and Cornwall we can’t recommend Coast enough.

The camper was super well equipped with all facilities provided to a very high standard. The ability to move freely between locations was a doddle with easy set-up between day and night configurations as well as being a pleasure to drive and eat up the miles. Coast will be highly recommended to our friends and family.

Hayley is brilliant and nothing is too much trouble.

We are already looking into the calendar to take Coast out on our next adventure!

Was very pleased with the Campervan we hired for the wedding. Very efficient service and turned up in plenty of time so the Bride could have photos taken. Would definitely recommend the Campervan we hired, the Bride was delighted with it. Unfortunately no photos as yet as still being processed by photographer.

Would thoroughly recommend hiring Otis. We took him to Suffolk for the weekend for our sons birthday and had a great time. Loved all the retro touches and children really enjoyed sleeping in the van. The owners were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

I hired Dixi the Campervan for my daughter and her friends to travel in to their prom. Dixi was very well turned out and polished. Rob the owner was very helpful and positioned Dixi where ever we wanted her for photos.I would definitely recommend Camperbug and Dixi to anyone looking to hire a campervan.

We took Etty, a VW T6, to the Lake District for a few days in June. She is superbly fitted out, with everything you could need for a few days away, she drives just like a car, and shes very clean and tidy. The people we hired her from were super and friendly, and the process was relatively pain free.

Dealing with Camperbug themselves however is very difficult - they dont reply to tweets, emails, or facebook posts, and the phone number I managed to find no longer seems to work.

Etty at Hoathwaite near Coniston

Hired the very handsome Campy McVanface from the lovely Daniel, who couldnt have been more helpful. Campy was the perfect van to take to Glastonbury Festival; the weather was very obliging so he didnt get muddy, and he attracted many admirers over the weekend. All went smoothly with the hire and we fell in love with Campy; he was great fun! Thanks Daniel! We had an amazing time:)

Us with Campy at Glastonbury 2017!

We had an awesome time at Glastonbury in The Beast.

The Beast was well equiped with the utensils, BBQ, camping table and stools and everything we needed.
The awning was really easy to put up and take down and provided us with extra space and shelter from the customary Glastonbury rain.
The roof box was great for extra storage as we had massively over packed.

Catherine was really helpful from the word go and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic trip.

Thanks again Cath, it was really lovely to meet you and The Beast.

I hired the Vanda VW Campervan for Download Festival. This was an amazing experience, from picking it up, through the weekend, to handing it back. Everything was simple to do with the the guys at CV2 who owned the van. We didnt get to use the full electrics as the festival did not allow for hook ups but the gas and leisure battery were more than enough. The interior was immaculate and so spacious for 4 people. The cost for the weekend was very reasonable especially split between 4 people.

A great campervan and a friendly helpful owner.
The campervan is well maintained and everything works how you would expect. In terms of driving it drives well, just like youd expect of a well maintained vehicle of this age. Apart from the practical "everything works as it should" the campervan looks GREAT, very well maintained in terms of bodywork etc.
The owner is helpful and flexible and does everything he can to make sure you enjoy using the van.

We were the coolest people on the campsite in Begbie - awarded ‘first van’ by a gang of kids on our long weekend away at Catgills campsite near Bolton Abbey. This was our first time in a campervan and Begbie really was the highlight of our trip. He was comfortable and practical to sleep in. Our four year old loved the pop-top and hammock and we all slept much easier and warmer than in a tent. We easily made coffee, breakfast and dinner with the equipment provided. Fun to drive when you get used to the controls, and we received waves, give-ways and admiring comments on our travels. Very pleased that we could safely put a car seat in the back. The owner Mark couldnt have been more helpful and flexible – Begbie has obviously been a much loved part of family holidays, and we were really pleased to be able to experience that. It has persuaded us to get our own campervan!

Breakfast!

Nice fire pit!

I found the owner to be very friendly and helpful both when I picked the vehicle up and dropping off. Quick and easy refund of my deposit. Driving the vehicle was very easy with cruise control making the journey a relaxing drive. Camped in a field with limited facilities and a few thousand other campers. On board toilet and shower were a must. The 100 litre water tank meant no water flll ups. Hired for 4 days at a great model show event.

We really enjoyed taking Richards camper out to Kent and Margate. It ran like a dream and was incredibly fuel efficient!
Loved the fact that you could park anywhere and the van was small enough to pass for a car.
Richard had equipped the van with ever thing we could need for a couple of days out and we are even thinking a few days in France could be a great idea over the Summer if it is available.

Family of 4 - 2 adults and two young children...

We hired Pegasus for the school May half term and had a fantastic time. The van was clean and in good condition with everything working, exactly as described. The bike rack that came fitted was extremely handy and we used that for the two adult bikes whilst carrying the two child bikes in the van. The other thing worth noting was that the rear bench seat (rock n roll bed) has 3 point harnesses which were essential for the child seats.

The only negative was the lack of awning but we got very lucky with the weather so it didnt matter at all.

As owners Anna & Edgar were very relaxed, flexible and helpful making the whole "Camperbug" experience a positive one. I would definitely consider hiring this van again.
