We hired Florence a 1989 VWT25 from Martin and Sharon via the Camperbug website last weekend 692014.
The booking service was quick and efficient and the service from Martin and Sharon was first class.
They even provided us with a champagne hamper as it was our 25th wedding anniversary.
The van had everything we needed for our camping trip to the Golden Cap in Dorset and it was a pleasure just driving it and taking our time to get around very relaxing and will definitely be doing it again.

We hired Iorek for the End of the Road festival in Dorset and had a fantastic time!
The van was really well equipped and comfortable, so much more luxury than we are used to at a festival. Had a lovely drive down there and Chris the owner gave us a very helpful briefing of all the gear before we set off, so thanks again, Chris, for letting us rent Iorek and hope to rent again soon.

My husband and I initially booked Henry for a birthday camping weekend. Unfortunately Henry had to go into the garage at the last minute and so we had to cancel our trip but Andrew was extremely helpful and communicative and it couldnt be helped. We rearranged our hire and ended up taking it to a triathlon in the New Forest. I could see Henry as I ran around the course and he gave me a boost!

It was so great to be the ones in the cool vw with kids waving to us from other cars and lots of people in the campsite coming up to meet Henry! It did take a while to get used to the left hand drive but the engine was surprisingly powerful and we were easily cruising on the motorway (compared to our old 1980s Talbot!). The top bunk was pretty comfortable even for 2 grown adults and it was warm and cozy. It has lots of good extras like sat nav, phone charger and Bluetooth.

Andrew is great with arranging everything with you so you dont need to worry. Id definitely recommend hiring Henry.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Andrew and Hettie the camper for providing the wheels for our wedding in july. The camper was perfect - really carefully maintained, and looked the part. Andrew was really calm and easygoing making sure everything ran smoothly and great to have a few bubbles . Thank you!

We had a lovely trip to Shell Island in Honey, campsite was quite noisy so would only return out of peak season. Amazing views over the mountains though.

Great support - Honey was cosy and comfy, slept very well. We took the journey nice and slowly, as it is impossible to rush. Driving an older VW does take a bit of getting used to, but other road users are very forgiving.

Henry is a great campervan with lots of personality and we had a fantastic time with him. Our trip would have been less enjoyable and fun without Henry. He came very well equipped with everything you need for a camping trip stowed in the van’s various cubby holes.

Henry’s owner was very responsive to our queries before our hire and he arranged the fitting of a third belt to the rear bench set, which allowed 5 adults to travel in the van!

Driving Henry was a great experience. He is more powerful than most campers and showed no mercy taking 5 of us and plenty of luggage up the hills of England!

Weve just had a wonderful long weekend away in Chas. A great van with its own little quirkyness - a fab drive and within a few miles husband had declared I want one!. Paulilne and Terry had thought of everything and my little boy really loved it. Super warm inside and well kitted out. Didnt get a chance to use hook-up on the sites we stayed at, but everything was there if wed needed it. Thank you again and we hope to be back to hire Chas again!

We had a fabulous time in "Our Geoffrey" at Leeds Festival. He was a treat to come home at the end of the day. Very well kitted out, lovely looking and made everybody smile.

We hired Muriel (1978 VW campervan) to visit Northumbrian coastline and onwards to Edinburgh Festival. We would highly recommend the site at Beal - which overlooks the Holy Island and has excellent on site facilities. As the van is 37yrs old, the steering, brakes and clutch are very different to those in more modern vans. The van is a good looker and lots of people were very complimentary - which might account for the owner being so protective towards her.

We hired the lovely Molly and spent a fab few days in West Wittering. She is full of character and never fails to raise a smile from people on the street - who doesnt love pink!! Molly was very well equipped - the awning was brilliant, essentially adding another room which was great for storagecoatsboots. A very comfortable double bed for 2 adults and a little hammock for my 6 year old slung over the front seats. All in all a very neat set up. Thanks for letting us borrow her. xx

i had an amazing time driving around cornwall with my daughters - the campervan was their idea and they loved it, especially sleeping in the cosy top double bed every night - its easy to drive, cosy sleeping arrangements, lovely awning and great sound system, all in all a great week!

We took Sydney to Cornwall for a week and had a brilliant time. From the outset Sue and Jack (Sydney\s owners) were really friendly and helpful, even to the point of purchasing and fitting a car seat for our baby daughter when it was discovered that ours was too large. The camper itself is in great condition, looks fantastic, and comes with everything you need. Huge thanks to Sue and Mark, hopefully it won\t be too long before we can go again!

A wonderfully well maintained camper, engine was as sweet as a nut, and it drove and stopped brilliantly. Everything was clean and well maintained. The berths kept us safe and sound in wind, rain and sun.
Brilliantly helpful and friendly owners talked us through all the kit, and gave us helpful suggestions.
A great time much recommended.

Thanks to camperbug we had a really great holiday in Cornwall. Edith, our camper van, was good home to us and the owner good to deal with. The only thing which draining some fund is the price inflating, ridiculously high cost of insurance. Of course it is payed for by the van owner and included in the rental fee, but inflates the cost to a otherwise really good deal.

Hi Camperbug Team we had a great time in Camper Wilma from Berkshire at the Hotrod Hayride, a weekend set in the 1950s with American cars, motorbikes and hotrods, the VW felt the right vehicle to be in at the festival. The Camper was great, did all we wanted it to do. Your website is very helpful and easy to use.

We had a smashing holiday in Poppy at the beginning of August, leisurely motoring just how it used to be. She was well equipped for the holiday and she made friends easily when we arrived at a site near Barry Island. Lots of other people on the site came to see us to admire her and have a chat. Nathan and Nicky her owners were very nice people to do business with. The transaction went smoothly and the communication was good. We would not hesitate in recommending them and Poppy to anyone who wanted to try a campervan holiday. Colin and Linda
