Your Camperbug Holiday Reviews

I’ve just returned from a trip down the Pembrokshire coast, in the T5 Cheshire campervan, hired from Vern and Gemma.
My friend Liz and I had a great time. After we’d collected the van from Northwich, we headed off to Nantcol Waterfalls in Llanbedr, which was beautiful, and then on to Fishguard Bay campsite, overlooking the sea; really good location and the fish and chip van was onsite the day we were there - really good!!!! via Aberystwyth and Barmouth, both lovely.
On to St David’s which we absolutely loved, paddled our feet on Whitesands Beach staying at Hendre Eynon Farm, and ended up at Tenby, again a great choice of place to visit.
All the booking of the van etc was really simple; picking up was quick and easy.
The bed was lovely and comfy and the whistling kettle heralding the first cuppa of the day was joyous. We did have some ‘fun’ times!!!!! trying to remember everything Vern had told us, specially when we put the roof up - a definite learning curve!!
I\\\\\\\ve got so many brilliant memories, unfortunately no pics, they’re on my friend’s camera and she lives in Ireland! Would recommend hiring before buying, just need to save for my own van now - - - - !!

We hired a camperbug and caught the camper bug! Two nights in the van at Wings and Wheels, what an adventure. Great fun for all the family and memories forever. The whole hire process was simple and easy.
Such a great time it is on our list to do again very soon.

Henry was immaculate and all we could of asked. Only tiny little moan was power lead supplied but was not plug into van power, otherwise all fantastic.

We had the best time in George, the T4 Westy. He was a pleasure to drive and cruised comfortably at the speed limits as we covered just under 4,000 Km around France over a period of 3 weeks. The kids loved it so much we are now looking to buy our own van. In the meantime we wouldnt hesitate to hire George again.

Fab experience both online and with the owner. I hired this van as my wedding car and as I had a third party pick it up and drive it for me everyone was very accommodating at meeting our needs. P.s The Victoria Sponge cake was amazing, and very much needed whilst setting up the venue the day before! Thank you Camper Bug!!

We hired our camper from Katy in Bristol and we drove up to the Greenbelt festival in Cheltenham then down to Cornwall to visit the Eden project.

This 2011 camper has the appeal of the original van and much of the original engineering making for an authentic VW camper van experience. For one week we lived the dream. We loved It.

Owning a camper van is beyond the budget of most, so renting makes it possible.

Katy was very helpful, the van was clean and tidy and came with comfortable fresh bed linen.

Add hiring a camper van to your bucket list but don\t put it off for too long as you will need strong arms to handle the steering.

Me my daughter & border collie hired Scarlet for 3 nights & toured south devon- wow what a fantastic exciting experience that was! It should be on everyone\s bucket list. I won\t lie- she took a bit if getting used to & needs lots of TLC- but she will make it with your while. There\s plenty of room and everything thing you need to eat, sleep and have fun in. You might end up with arms like a weight lifter after turning all the corners of the costal cliff roads, but it\s all part of the fun packed ride & experience.
We will be doing it all again very soon.

We hired Tinkerbell, and had just the best time in her. We drove around parts of Dorset - went to Westbay and Studland Bay, Corfe Castle and, of course, slept in her. Really fun to drive, and very comfy to sleep in. My youngest daughter (12) slept in one of the hammocks in the pop up - found it so comfortable that we couldn\\\t get her out in the mornings! I\\\ve now got even more of a thing about classic VW campervans and can\\\t wait to go away in one again! Also loved how when you drive past another campervan you all wave at each other!

Brilliant!!

At the Tynemouth VW Vintage rally

We had a great week in the Toyota Hiace traveling around Cornwall. We discovered some great campsites which we would never have done with a tent. Our daughter loved sleeping in the top bunk and the downstairs bed was full width and surprisingly comfortable for a campervan. Dale left us complimentary tea, coffee and milk in the van and it had all the stuff youd need including a stove and microwave. The bathroom is handy for wild camping but we used it for storing our bags, wetsuits and sandy beach stuff which kept the rest of the van clean. Recommend putting up a pop up tent for baggage if want to use bathroom. All in all a great van.

Arthur was a great addition to the family! We had a great time in him and were sad to say goodbye at the end of the week. He got many an admiring glance and made people smile. Zoe was very helpful and didnt mind a couple of phone calls about awnings! We would all love to do it angain it was very easy and enjoyable - a very memorable experience x

Great van, they are tiny those old vans! Was a bit paranoid for the whole trip of losing my £500 security deposit which did put a bit of a dampener on the trip but on the up-side the van was immaculate and all that was expected. Could have done with a spare gas cylinder in the van as we ran out during saturday night cooking with no way to get more gas until Sunday opening.

Great van, very well equipped, bit stressful worrying about the deposit but this may apply to all vans.

I hired Jimmy for a surprise road trip for my girlfriends 30th Birthday. The van was perfect and it was hard to give it back after 5 days!! Really clean with everything we needed to jump in and head off. We went to Yorkshire then Edinburgh round to Fort William and stopped in the Lake District on the way back. My girlfriend was really pleased so thanks for helping to make a milestone birthday one to remember!!

We had the most wonderful holiday with Billy Brown! We wanted to keep her forever. I took my 4 grown up children and we laughed so much....well they did at my driving! It was the most therapeutic week Ive ever experienced and I would thoroughly recommend it. If I won the Lottery then I would go straight out and buy a vw campervan with my winnings and treat my friends and family to the same fabulous experience. Lisa and Simon were very helpful and patient with my many requests and queries but Jason was particularly kind and brave risking his life taking me out for a test drive in Guildford! Thank you for allowing us to tootle all the way to Cornwall and back with the lovable Billy Brown. We miss her already!

My family and I had a wonderful holiday in this amazing campervan. Greta was great fun and my husbnad really enjoyed driving her. We very quickly got used to te relaxed feelings that come with a wonderful campervan holiday.

The roll out bed was very comfotable and the boys found the bunk beds great fun. We loved cooking on the stove under the seat.

From booking the campervan to handing her back we got great customer service. Good communication via text and email.

The only downside was, we had to hand her back.

Wonderful views

We took Croyde to Leeds Festival.

He was immaculate when we picked him up and kitted out to a VERY high standard. Mark, his owner had thought of everything and included all the little things wed forgotten!

Mark was so easy going and friendly, an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Inside, Croyde is spacious and comfortable. I didnt want to get out of bed!! Everything we needed for cooking was provided and having two gas rings was really useful. The furnishings were stylish, clean and new and people commented on how lovely he looked.

I found Croyde easy to drive and enjoyed having the ipod connector so we could listen to our music as well as the radio. Croydes got a great sound system which makes all the difference! There was loads of space for all our gear so we had plenty of room whether we were travelling or camping.

I would recommend Croyde to anyone and cant wait until our next trip.
Croydes certainly given us the Camper-Bug!!!
